Process Operator with Technical Interest Wanted

Allergon AB is the market's leading manufacturer of allergenic raw materials. They operate in the production and sale of allergy diagnostics and therapy as well as the production of natural medicines. Allergon is part of the ThermoFisher group's division for allergy diagnostics, which is world-leading with the ImmunoCAP system. The company has around 50 employees and is located in Välinge just south of Ängelholm.

About the Job

We are looking for someone who will primarily be responsible for maintenance and light service in the process of manufacturing allergen pollen, which involves preparation for intake, drying, grinding, and sieving. You should be able to independently plan your work as needed, perform practical work for service and maintenance, and your role also includes distributing and supervising tasks for seasonal employees. The work takes place largely outdoors, weekdays during the day.

As a process operator, your responsibilities include:

• Weighing externally and internally collected plant material.
• Cleaning workrooms and equipment.
• Filling out production documents.
• Maintenance and light service of the department's equipment.
• Guiding and training new staff/summer workers (May-September).
• Participating in relevant meetings - improvement work/deviation investigations.
• Responsible for Allergon's disposal of by-products/waste management.

Some driving of tractors and harvesting of allergenic raw materials may occur.

About You

Since they work with allergenic raw materials, it is crucial that you do not have any form of allergy. We prefer that you have post-secondary education in a relevant field for this type of position, or equivalent experience in a similar role.

Important for the position:

• You must not have any form of allergy (an allergy test will be conducted before contract signing).
• Great attention to detail and quality awareness.
• Technical interest with the ability to work in various systems and documentation management.
• Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.
• Driving license B and access to a car is a requirement; it is an advantage if you have an extended license, B96 or BE.
• Forklift license A+B (experience with counterbalance forklift B1).

About the Employment

The position of process operator is a full-time consulting assignment with immediate placement. As a consultant, you will be employed by Adecco Sweden. For the right person, there are good opportunities for the position to transition to the client.
